Throughout the Pasta Montana facility, we adhere to the fundamentals of making excellent pasta, using processes that preserve the natural protein structure of the original durum wheat and result in firm texture and ideal taste. The mixing systems are all completely computer-controlled with gravimetric ingredient feed systems insuring a perfectly consistent mix.

Along with precisely controlling the mixing variables, the system employs the concept of gentle kneading and cool extrusion, maintaining control of extrusion rate and cut length. Pasta Montana’s unique, fully programmable drying systems allow us to run various drying curves in the medium, high and very high temperature range to further customize the pasta and suit customer needs. All extruders and dryers are built with stainless steel frames and hardware for sanitation and corrosion resistance.
